Irvine Studies in the Humanities

Back to English literature

Editor: Professor Robert Folkenflik

Irvine Studies in the Humanities comprises volumes of original essays, each devoted to a significant topic in the humanities. The intention of these volumes is to explore collectively some of the most compelling intellectual problems of our time and to comprehend the relations between humanistic and other discourses. At times this will lead to a strong inter-disciplinary emphasis, at others to a focus on a single field. The series will not be limited to any one theory or method, though the individual volumes will define their own coherence.
