The Pacific in the Twentieth Century

Back to Education - Geography

The Pacific in the Twentieth Century examines the historical, geographical, and social aspects of the Pacific region, in particular the South Pacific. The books are designed to increase student understanding of the Pacific region and the human and environmental issues influencing the Pacific. The past has seen continual change and the future of Pacific islands as well as the region itself is far from predictable. This series, written for 14-16 year olds, examines the present and future from the understanding gained from the past.
