History of British Petroleum

Back to History - other areas

This three-volume series is a history of the development and massive expansion of British Petroleum, from its origins at the start of the twentieth century through to the OPEC crisis of the 1970s. This is the 'official' history of BP, written with the aid of BP's vast archive of business records, and makes a major contribution to the history of world business, international affairs, Middle Eastern development, and oil.
