Cambridge Partnership for Education
Part of University of Cambridge
The world has changed a lot recently. We’re changing, too.
COVID-19 has disrupted the way we all live, learn and earn. It has widened gaps that already existed in education and society and created new cracks that people risk falling through.
Education systems have never been under more stress. That means your work has never been more important to help people and societies meet the challenges of the future.
This year saw schools closed in over 190 countries, affecting over 1.5 billion learners. 24 million children may never return to the classroom. Half of the global workforce is at risk, leaving many without the skills they will need to return to new jobs.
In each case, that is a child who will never see the inside of a classroom. A teenager who won’t get the grades they need for further study. A parent, out of work, with no options to retrain.
Faced with these huge challenges, governments, teachers, parents and students have shown extraordinary commitment and creativity, finding ways to keep learning. You are the people we want to work with.
We passionately believe in a world where everyone receives the education they need to achieve their goals, and find their place in a modern, inclusive society. And we believe every country should have a quality, public education system to make this possible.
That’s why we have created the Cambridge Partnership for Education. Our new team brings together in one place the extensive understanding and expertise in education reform from Cambridge Assessment and Cambridge University Press, supported by the collective knowledge and global network of the University of Cambridge.
Your investment in education is one of the most important you can make. You want to make sure there is the best possible return on that investment. To help you reach your goals, we bring decades of trusted experience working on education reform from every angle - curriculum, assessment, learning materials and teacher training.
We put partnership at the heart of what we do. We listen and learn with you. We stay with you throughout the process, from understanding the problem, to identifying the right solutions, and making sure it works - on paper and in the classroom. And in the past 12 years, we have applied this approach successfully in over 60 countries. We understand education, and we understand context.
We are uniquely qualified to work with you to develop a quality, coherent education system, supporting national development objectives grounded in local culture and informed by international best practice.
Right now, around the world, countries are making plans to revitalize their education systems.
Let’s start a conversation about how we can achieve that mission together. Email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
