Internationally Renowned Neuropsychologists Headline the International Neuropsychological Society 46th Annual Meeting
Featuring cutting-edge research on brain-behavior relationships, the meeting will host thousands of international thought leaders and researchers in the fields of cognitive, behavioral and clinical neuropsychology, and other related fields.

- Dr. Vilayanur Ramachandran: A neuroscientist renowned for his research on the neural basis of cognition and language, author of The Tell-Tell Brain: A Neuroscientist’s Quest for What Makes Us Human and is “one of the most influential people in the world,” according to Time magazine. In 1997, Newsweek named him as a member of the "Century Club," one of the most prominent people to watch in the next century.
- Dr. Earl Miller: A global leader on the neural basis of complex executive functions, and featured in Discover Magazine, NPR, NBC Today Show, The New Yorker, and more.
- Dr. Sarah Lisanby: Internationally recognized authority on the use of neurostimulation devices to treat mental illness. Since 2015, she has directed the division of the National Institute of MentalHealth (NIMH) working on translational research.
- Dr. Miguel Nicolelis: A Brazilian scientist and physician, best known for his pioneering work in "reading monkey thought," and the brain-machine interface and neuroprosthetics. Named as one of 100 Leading Global Thinkers of 2015 by Foreign Policy Magazine.
- Dr. Anne-Lise Pitel: Assistant Professor at the University of Caen and rising star in Korsakoff’s syndrome diagnostics and treatment.
- Dr. Mieke Verfaellie: speaking on temporal lobe amnesia, a leader in cognitive neuroscience and memory disorders.
In addition, the meeting features scholarly symposia and constructive debates on topics such as: telemedicine, wearable activity monitoring, memory, language, Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, dementia, schizophrenia, epilepsy, the aging brain, and more topics addressing the interdisciplinary research on brain-behavior relationships.
